Hi, I am Naomi Chan. I’m half Chinese and half English. My dad is a Chinese who worked in UK as a researcher and my mom was a teacher in history at Cappercleuch. A common friend introduced my dad to mom and that’s how their love story started. My parents settled in China after they get married in UK because my dad was transferred once again. After a couple of years from their wedding, my mother gave birth to a Chinese-English breed angel. That’s me, born on February 4, 1983 in China. I was thought how to value my culture since I was young. Most especially my dad, who is a pure Chinese had thought me a lot of things about the important culture and traditions of Chinese. My mom also conforms to my dad’s tradition even if she is English. However when I was eight, my father was transferred again in UK. And until now we are here in United Kingdom.
