Four Things That Marked 2018 for Pastor Chris Oyakhilome\r\nThe Christ Embassy has been around for over three decades as it was established in 1987 in Lagos. Over time, it progressed from a small church to a large and respectable organization of believers from around the world. According to some statistics, the number of followers is larger than 400,000, and they come from various countries and continents.\r\nThe founder of the Believers’ LoveWorld, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has a lot of reasons to be satisfied. The year behind us was also very successful for him. Let’s take a look at four things that marked 2018 for the pastor.\r\nInternational Music Concert – A Huge Music Event\r\nOn June 24th, Pastor Chris and his organization organized an International Music Concert. The event was held in Lagos, the capital of Nigeria, and featured reputable gospel artists. During the concert, the third album of Pastor Chris was represented, too. The album is another proof that Christ Embassy is aware of how important music is in faith. They believe it not only strengthens faith but also unites people from entire Nigeria and beyond. \r\nBelievers Picked Him Over the World Cup\r\nMany would think that it was not smart to schedule an event in London while the World Cup is in progress. However, a conference Chris Oyakhilome organized for partners and leaders of the Christ Embassy organized on July 14th, and 15th attracted thousands of members of the organization despite the fact it was held at the same time as the most important football competition in the world.\r\nFormer President a Guest at the Future African Leaders Awards\r\nPastor Chris and the Christ Embassy have been organizing the Future African Leader Awards for years. The goal is to recognize those members of the community who have made a significant contribution in their areas of service. The surprising thing about the last year’s event was that Olusegun Obasanjo was one of the honorable guests. Another prominent person present was the Minister of Youth and Sport, Honorable Salomon Dalong.\r\nPastor’s Daughter Married the Love of Her Life\r\nThe last, but not least, is an event from the pastor’s private life. Sharon Oyakhilome, one of the pastor’s two daughters, had her white wedding on October 6th in Lagos. As expected, the ceremony was organized at the headquarters of the Christ Embassy. Pastor Chris was proud that her daughter found the love of her life and he kept his smile on during the entire ceremony.
