Pastor Chris Oyakhiloma Announces 2019 Winner of the FALA\r\n\r\nThe FALA, or Future African Leader Award, is handed out once a year and honors one particular individual that has shown the most leadership within the African community. The award was announced January 31, 2019, at LoveWorld Convocation Arena during the New Year’s Eve service. Hosted by Pastor Chris Oyakhiloma, founder of LoveWorld Inc and Christ Embassy., it was a special evening filled with performances, special guests and an essential message for the youth.\r\n\r\nThe winner of this years Future African Leader Award belongs to Isiah Deng. Mr. Deng comes from South Sudan and has been recognized as an up and coming future youth leader. He has created several youth programs that have helped youngsters get a better start to their future. His focus is to not only give youth the opportunity to be self-reliant but to overcome any obstacles they may face along the way. As a resident of South Sudan, Mr. Deng is all too familiar with hardship, growing up during a civil war, and helping children and teens overcome issues within their lives is why he was chosen as the recipient of the FALA award this year \r\n\r\nWhile there is only one winner chosen for the Future African Leader Award each year, each of the nominees was also mentioned for their tremendous work. Each individual mentioned was and continues to be an inspiration, and they will continue to be in the years to come.\r\n\r\nThis year Pastor Chris Oyakhiloma, announces that 2019 is the Year of Lights. They are embarking on a new journey from 2018’s Year of the Supernatural. Last year prophecied movement and miracles. Indeed, that is precisely what happened. Members from the Christ Embassy church were all in appearance, traveling to the Holyland, to witness the opening of the American Embassy in Jerusalem. But what will this year have in store?\r\n\r\n As coined the Year of Lights, Pastor Chris said, “This year, you are going to shine ever so brightly.” to audience members. The message reverberated throughout the crowd, and he continued by saying, “We’re entering into a new phase of the Church’s ministry in the earth, like as never been known before — a dimension of the glory of God in the earth beyond what the Church had known.” Pastor Chris Oyakhiloma is known for his inspirational sermons and moving speeches.\r\n\r\nThose in attendance and those watching at home were highly anticipating who would win the FALA, and are excited for the new year and what it may bring.
