I recently reviewed task management plan and saw one of these go matrixed organization charts. After looking at it for a while to try and understand what was going on, I requested the next: \"Who gets the bullet if the project fails? \" The answer I got back was \"The team gets the bullet. \" Now, some of you may think I was less than tactful in asking this question, but after studying this corporation chart I honestly couldn\'t tell who was steerage the ship. Then when I heard that it was \"The team\" that was accountable I got my answer: No one was accountable. If something proceeded to go wrong on the task this structure allowed for those in leadership jobs to point fingers at the other because the command team was a team of equals.
