Sash Heritage Restoration offer a ‘One Stop Shop’ of refurbishment services in box frame and sash windows, typical of period and listed properties in and around the South East. Our highly skilled team of master tradespeople are able to merge traditional styling with the most advanced and robust materials to renew sash windows to their original, elegant state. Our team aim to keep and restore original frames as far as it is possible, but when needed we are able to build replacement frames on site from 100+ year old air-dried timber. To improve warmth and energy efficiency, Slimlite double glazing can now be installed without replacing the original sash or box frame windows in your property. Installing double glazing is both economical and green in terms of a worthwhile investment. Our dedicated team work hard to complete restoration projects up to 50% more efficiently than others offering similar services, yet we retain the highest standard of craftsmanship. As specialists in period, heritage and listed UK properties, we stock a large and varied supply of 100+ year-old wood, all air-dried, reclaimed and seasoned to last for many years. Any replacement timber used in our repair process is air-dried to ensure a better balance with its surrounding materials, preventing hardening and shakes much more successfully than kiln-dried timber. Sash Heritage Restoration are very proud to use DryFlex Woodcare System throughout our workmanship; these products are undoubtedly the best filling material for original casement on listed properties. We use the very best materials throughout our workflow, from brush pile draught-proofing, Slimlite glazing, 100+ year-old, air-dried timber and the DryFlex Woodcare System. The team is dedicated to renewing original window features to your requirements. It is necessary to find specialist maintenance of sash window frames on Grade 1 and 2 listed houses. Failing draught-exclusion, rotten box frames and window sills, sticky mechanisms and sash cords can be repaired by Sash Heritage Restoration’s team of expertise. Services also include painting and decorating, window cleaning and crack repair, we are a ‘One Stop Shop’ for all your sash window-related needs. From advice, surveying, restoration and completion, our team keeps the whole process in-house, on time and within a highly competitive budget.
