I am disappointed and ashamed that our political system has deteriorated to the extent that dissertation essay writing has. It is past time to update the checks and balances to prevent the further spread of corruption which seems to have polluted our everyday life as well as our political system. Perhaps it is time to go to a multi-party government, with ministers selected from all parties represented in parliament. New Zealand seems to work well with such a system.
