      <description>&lt;p&gt;Ever struggled to pull custom fields outside the WordPress loop? I definitely have! I once used a direct SQL query similar to this example to grab a specific custom field's image URL for display in a header. It worked, but I later learned about get_posts() which can be cleaner.
