Changing permissions recursively by files and directories

In order to avoid make files executable, you can use these to chmod files and directories differently.

  1. for folders(directories):
  2. find . -type d -exec chmod 777 {} \;
  3.  
  4. for files:
  5. find . -type f -exec chmod 666 {} \;
