- Technically speaking, a "spool file" is any file to which data is spooled (queued) to await the next stage of processing. In linux/unix based operating systems like the (gs) Grid-Service, mail is spooled while awaiting a transport demon to send the message out. When the spool file runs out of space, it will return this error. On the (gs) Grid-Service, there are a number of these files, however, a large amount of email being sent at any given time can overload the space available.
- It appears that earlier today there was a problem with the mail spool on your hosting cluster. Our administrative team was able to identify and address the issue. You should not continue to receive this error, however, if any further information or a similar arise please let us know via this Support Request.
