On Windows XP machines with (usually) and nVidia video card may throw an error when trying to install OpenType and/or PostScript fonts.
Unable to install the <fontname> font. File "D:\fontname___.pfm is either invalid or damaged
Oddly enough, the cause of the problem is apparently that the video card driver is larger than expected. Adding the below registry entry and rebooting the computer is reportedly the solution.
- Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
- [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management]
