Please keep in mind that this plugin is a work in progress. It works great for me and the guys I work with, but if you run into any problems, please let me know so I can iron out the bugs.

Snipplr WordPress Plugin

The Snipplr WordPress plugin gives you an easy way to embed snippets inside your blog posts or add a list of your recent snippets to your blog's sidebar. My thanks go to Jan Stępień for coming up with the initial idea for this plugin and writing the first version. You can check out his website at http://stepien.com.pl.

How does it work?

  1. Download and unzip the plugin.
  2. Upload the "Snipplr" folder to your blog's /wp-content/plugins directory.
  3. In your blog's admin area, click on "Plugins" and activate the Snipplr plugin.

Once it's activated, just click on the "Snipplr Configuration" tab and follow the directions. You can then display a snippet in a blog post by typing [snippet=id], where id is the snippet's ID number.

See For Yourself
